Our response to COVID-19
A Message from the Team at Savers
As a leading thrift retailer here in Australia, we have been monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation and are keeping a close watch on the daily developments.

Our priority, now more than ever, is to continue to provide a safe shopping environment for our customers and team members. Based on the guidance from the Department of Health, we are confident our stores continue to be safe, and we remain open for business to serve the needs of local communities.

In light of COVID-19, we are implementing some new measures for our collective health and well-being. While our stores are cleaned and sanitised daily as part of our normal course of business, as an added precaution, our teams have increased the frequency and extent of those cleanings with a focus on “high touch” areas and surfaces that receive frequent contact.

These and other business decisions are informed by guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Australian Government Department of Health and public health agencies. As a long-standing member of communities in Australia, we remain committed to doing what is right for our shoppers, team members and the community’s public health.

Our hearts continue to be with all of those who have been affected, and we remain hopeful that COVID-19 is quickly controlled.
